SR follows the lead of the flagship SR180 to deliver eye-catchingsports styling and specification within an even more accessible price rangeTR provides a price-friendly combination of generous specification,exceptional safety and superior qualityNEW AURIS SR Following the launch of the flagship Auris SR180, Toyota is introducingfurther sporting style to the range with new SR models powered by the 1.6Dual VVT-i petrol and 2.0 D-4D 130 diesel engines. With great looks,generous specifications and competitive pricing, they are set to appeal toan even wider customer base. The new versions do more than just look good, benefiting from loweredsports suspension and riding on 17-inch alloy wheels, both from ToyotaMotorsport. Other stand-out features provided as standard include a ToyotaMotorsport rear spoiler and dark-tinted privacy glass – items sharedwith the SR180. They also come equipped with nine airbags, climate control airconditioning, leather-trimmed steering wheel with audio controls, front foglamps, six-speaker sound system and body colour-matched door handles andmirrors. The SR is on sale now, in three and five-door body styles priced from£14,495. That represents excellent value to the customer, who gains anadditional £1,495 of equipment and styling features at a price that is just£690 greater than that of the equivalent T3 model. REVISED AURIS TR The coolest note struck this spring is the introduction of automaticdual zone air conditioning on the Auris TR. The touch-of-a-dial control ofleft and right-side cabin temperatures tops the bill in a series of newfeatures for the TR grade. The new look includes a set of lean and smart five-spoke 16-inch alloywheels, distinctive blue interior seat trim and chrome rear trim detailing.Like the new SR (above), the specification also includes nine airbags,front fog lamps, leather-trimmed steering wheel with audio controls,six-speaker sound system and body colour-matched door handles and mirrors.In spite of their superior specification, TR models cost £310 less thanequivalent T3 models, giving total customer value of more than £655. The TR is available now with 1.4 and 1.6 VVT-i petrol and 2.0 D-4D 130diesel engines. Optional MultiMode transmission is available with the 1.6unit.
