Citroen unveiled today the C4 Sedan, a model that expands the existing C4 range currently made up of a 5-door hatchback and a coupe. The new model is built on the C4 platform and will be available on sale starting the last quarter of 2007.

The C4 Sedan combines the design cues of the C4 range with the larger volumes of a sedan that is 4.77 m long and 1.77 m wide. It is a car of real personality and presence with its exclusive and stylish design.

The C4 sedan is powered by either a petrol or a diesel engine both mated with five-speed manual transmission.

The 1.6i 16V petrol engine has an output of 110 bhp and a peak torque of 108 lbs-ft at 4000 rpm. The HDi 110 engine is equipped as standard with the particulate filter (DPFS). It has a maximum power of 110 bhp and a peak torque of 177 lbs-ft at 1750 rpm.

A vehicle of sophisticated styling, the C4 Sedan maintains the many qualities of the C4 in terms of equipment, driving pleasure and safety. It reflects CitroÃ«nâ€™s objective of bringing its customers vehicles designed for a more relaxed drive.

The C4 Sedan features an ergonomic driverâ€™s position designed to share information with its fixed-centred controls steering wheel and main driving parameters displayed in the centre of the dashboard.

This past March at the Geneva Motor Show, the Swedish super car company Keonigsegg revealed the NLV Quant electric sedan. Well now it is the exotic Italian coachbuilder Bugatti’s turn, and Ettore’s original brand has done quite an impressive job on the all new Bugatti 16 C Galibier concept that was unveiled this past weekend in Molsheim. According to the automaker the upcoming super car will become "the most exclusive, elegant, and powerful four door automobile in the world."

In addition to the forthcoming Prime Edition, Mercedes will also offer an AMG Sports package for the newly launched E-Class Cabrio. Unlike the Prime Edition, which seems to have an entire catalog of Mercedes models to choose from, the AMG Sports package will only be available for the E500 model.

The Civic’s base price of $15,505 compares favorably with its direct competitor, the Toyota Corolla ($15,350), the outgoing Mazda 3 i Sport ($15,360), and Hyundai Elantra GLS ($14,120). Fuel economy, ever important for buyers in this segment, is a frugal 26 city, 34 highway mpg. Notably, both the Ford Focus (24/35) and Chevrolet Cobalt XFE (25/37) achieve better highway mileage. The Cobalt is tops in its class for horsepower, too, with 155. The Civic’s 1.8L engine makes 140 hp.
